Summer Products to Lust Over

I hate that I haven’t posted in a few days. I’ve been on the road, and would you know that I didn’t bring my laptop? Nope, I really worked to unplug myself from the Matrix. Of course I brought my phone, and I did send an email my previous editor, but otherwise I was ignored the net. Don’t hold it against me.

I’m back now, and I’m salivating to bring you my list of my summer ‘must have’ products. Some are oldies-but goodies-and others are new. Regardless, each product helps me to revel in the warm weather, long days, and generally wonderfulness that is summer time.

1. St. Tropez Tanning Essentials Skin Illuminating Gold

$22.50; Sephora.com

People think it’s weird that I-a naturally tanned person-still like to have that bronzed look. Bodies just look better with a little extra glow, no? Since tanning beds are so 2004, I like the idea of seeking my tan in a bottle. This tanner from St. Tropez has no sulfates, GMOs,or synthetic dyes. It can be layered on to make you look like a golden goddess, or mixed with face cream for a DIY tinted moisturizer.

2.PHYTO PLAGE Protective Sun Veil

$20; Amazon.com

The beach is good for your bod but not your hair. I love how this product protects tresses from sunrays. Sunflower extract, Illipe Butter, White Lotus extract, and Sweet Almond help to nourish and moisturize.

3. LaLicious Coconut Cream Body Oil

$23.21; Amazon.com

I feel like LaLicious is one of the best kept secrets in terms of brands. And they are one of the few companies that know how to nail gourmand scents. Obviously you want to wear anything with coconut when the weather gets warmer. It’s just so tropical. It’s bound to pick you up when you’re stuck at the office. Use it on your legs to give them an extra sheen.

4.GloMinerals Gold Dusk 24k

$35.50; Blush.com

Having to wear foundation during the summer makes me cringe. That’s why I prefer lose powder, like this one from GloMinerals. It gives skin a dewy glow.

What are some of your must haves for summer?
